Who Are We
The Daughters of Norway is a sisterhood of women united by our Nordic heritage and dedicated to preserving and celebrating our culture, history, and language.
We aim to foster a strong community that connects women and builds lasting friendships as they learn about and share their heritage. The camaraderie that develops among members is rewarding and gratifying. Share ancestral bonds with women who share the same interests.
Our lodge enjoys celebrating our Norwegian heritage and sharing Nordic cultural traditions at each meeting through activities such as baking, celebrations, cultural programs, arts & crafts, outings, and travel.
Who Can Join
Membership is open to any woman at least thirteen years old who is of Nordic descent (Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Finnish, Icelandic, or Sami) or has (or had) a spouse or domestic partner of Nordic descent or has a relative married to a person of Nordic descent.
To join, fill out THIS FORM and email it to snovalleydon@gmail.com or bring it to an upcoming meeting. The initial membership fee is $51 (including admin fees), and annual renewals are $35 (for 2026).

When We Meet
Meetings take place on the second Saturday of each month, except in February, July, and August, when there are no meetings.
10:00am ~ 12:00pm at Mt. Si Lutheran Church, North Bend, WA.
